Craftsmanship
-
This cinematic film follows Italian artist Luca Mancini as he steps onto a balcony overlooking the Amalfi Coast, where sea, stone, and sky meet. As the camera moves across the landscape, he begins to paint in watercolor on Amatruda handmade cotton paper, responding intuitively to place and light.
The film then enters the historic Amatruda paper mill, revealing the traditional process of handmade papermaking—each cotton sheet formed slowly, one at a time. Preserved by the Amatruda family for generations, this ancient craft transforms water, fiber, and human touch into archival paper used by artists, writers, and makers around the world.
Correspondence Atelier
The Correspondence Atelier is the sanctuary of handwritten ritual. These objects are selected for their material integrity, lineage, and tactile presence—crafted to support slow writing, reflection, and intentional communication.
Offered in limited quantities as materials allow, each piece invites a return to the sensory world and the quiet intelligence of the hand.
